"If a people or nation are pro environment it becomes easy to sit back
and do absolutely nothing positive or productive for the economic
security of their people or nation. If
one has the luxury to defend the environment, a nation or people will
most likely eventually get hand outs or sponsors from an Industrial
nation. But, how long can this go on for? A people or nation are still
responsible for the economy of your family or nation. If one can think
of constructive ways to generate revenue, work for job creation, and
discover alternate energy sources for your nation, everyone would be on
board. But, for example the Indigenous, Tibetan, Bhutanese, and other
pro environment groups have not done any of the outlined objectives.
This has lead to Indigenous groups falling behind, being divided as
tribes, and lead to high unemployment rates for their nations. In the
year 2008, economics and job creation for their peoples must be the main
priority for Indigenous leaders, and Tibetan leaders. If an Indigenous
or Tibetan leader are giving a speech or talk and are not talking about
job creation for their collective peoples then it is an empty, and
fruitless talk for my generation, and our future generations." ~
Chukdong, The Human Family (2008).
