Descriptions from GuruJi: Kriyas are Shakti at work, Shakti tries to reduce toxins from body, mind ... can be sensations, hot, cold, pleasant, stretching, postures, breath, inner feelings, thoughts, laughter, crying, mudras .. focus on them and enjoy! Don't attach to any kriya — if we attach it will repeat. As kriyas become less, joy and love increase.
Swami Shivom Tirth (Guruji's teacher) writes in The Second Dawn, p. 98: "After Shakti is awakened, the task of thinning out the samskaras is initiated through the medium of kriyas. ... Shakti has to uproot them from great depths, bring them up in the chitta, and then transform them into kriyas.”
