Wisdom from the Siddha Ashram Ujjain India.

Our heart itself is the true Guru.

If there is impurity in the heart, then that same impurity will appear everywhere—we will even begin to see faults in great Gurus. As one continues with spiritual practices, the heart gradually becomes purified, and accordingly the Guru principle also becomes purified. The purer the Guru principle, the greater the Guru we receive.
By looking at the faults of others, the heart becomes tainted, the Guru principle is contaminated, and thus the heart closes.
The heart itself is the Guru—keeping the heart pure is the true practice.
A heart that has become completely pure is itself the attainment of spiritual practice. The highest means of purifying and opening the heart is chanting and singing the Lord’s name.
And it is only through meditation that one truly experiences the heart—never through reading books.
Sometimes people ask, “How can the heart be kept open? How can the experience of inner love remain constant?”
Once, when such a question was asked to Baba Ji, he gave a very beautiful answer:
“The heart has no door,” he said.
“You can never open it, nor can you close it. It is only that sometimes you feel the heart is open, and sometimes you feel it is closed.”
Meditation means experiencing the heart in its continuously open state.
Meditation is the unbroken experience of divine love.
there is only one thing we must do—listen to our own true Self, beyond the mind, beyond judgments and arguments.
