Yoga Sutras 4.22-4.26: Buddhi, Discrimination, and Liberation : Like the reflection on a mirror.
Like the reflection on a mirror: Think of the reflection on a mirror. There appears to be something there but try as you will, you cannot physically grasp the objects that appear in the mirror. They are there, yet are not there. However, by virtue of that reflection you are able to know, to experience. It is somewhat like that with consciousness, or purusha. It provides the light or life force so that the subtlest aspect of mind-stuff can operate, yet like with the mirror, it cannot itself be grasped and is unchanging. It is as if the consciousness, though unchanged, wraps itself around the subtle object called mind, and, in turn, all of the objects of the mind. This has been described in the beginning of the Yoga Sutras as the essential obstacle to be transcended, or disidentified with. (1.4).
The tool must be set aside: By realizing the extremely subtle nature of how the consciousness allows the mind-field to be active, it is evident that to know the absolute, unchanging Truth or Reality, one must let go of even this finest instrument. Through that letting go, the experience of the unchanging, eternal consciousness is there, standing alone, and this is the experience of Self-realization. It is the meaning of resting in one's True nature that is introduced in the beginning of the Yoga Sutras (1.3).

Translation
Thus I began chanting the holy name and fame of the Lord by repeated recitation, ignoring all the formalities of the material world. Such chanting and remembering of the transcendental pastimes of the Lord are benedictory. So doing, I traveled all over the earth, fully satisfied, humble and unenvious.
Purport
The life of a sincere devotee of the Lord is thus explained in a nutshell by Nārada Muni by his personal example. Such a devotee, after his initiation by the Lord or His bona fide representative, takes very seriously chanting of the glories of the Lord and traveling all over the world so that others may also hear the glories of the Lord. Such devotees have no desire for material gain. They are conducted by one single desire: to go back to Godhead. This awaits them in due course on quitting the material body. Because they have the highest aim of life, going back to Godhead, they are never envious of anyone, nor are they proud of being eligible to go back to Godhead. Their only business is to chant and remember the holy name, fame and pastimes of the Lord and, according to personal capacity, to distribute the message for others’ welfare without motive of material gain.

"The performance of yajña is a very difficult task because all the demigods must be invited to participate in the yajña. In this Kali-yuga it is not possible to perform such costly sacrifices, nor is it possible to invite the demigods to participate. Therefore in this age it is recommended, yajñaiḥ saṅkīrtana-prāyair yajanti hi sumedhasaḥ (SB 11.5.32). Those who are intelligent should know that in the Kali-yuga there is no possibility of performing the Vedic sacrifices. But unless one pleases the demigods, there will be no regulated seasonal activities or rainfall. Everything is controlled by the demigods. Under the circumstances, in this age, in order to keep the balance of social peace and prosperity, all intelligent men should execute the performance of saṅkīrtana-yajña by chanting the holy names Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare/ Hare Rāma, Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma, Hare Hare. One should invite people, chant Hare Kṛṣṇa, and then distribute prasāda. This yajña will satisfy all the demigods, and thus there will be peace and prosperity in the world. Another difficulty in performing the Vedic rituals is that if one fails to satisfy even one demigod out of the many hundreds of thousands of demigods, just as Dakṣa failed to satisfy Lord Śiva, there will be disaster. But in this age the performance of sacrifice has been simplified. One can chant Hare Kṛṣṇa, and by pleasing Kṛṣṇa one can satisfy all the demigods automatically."

And those who are artists, overtaken by the beautiful creation, should better see to the beautiful face of the Lord for complete satisfaction. The face of the Lord is the embodiment of beauty. What they call beautiful nature is but His smile, and what they call the sweet songs of the birds are but specimens of the whispering voice of the Lord. There are administrative demigods in charge of departmental service of cosmic management, and there are tiny administrative gods in the state service. They are always afraid of other competitors, but if they take shelter of the arms of the Lord, the Lord can protect them always from the attacks of enemies. A faithful servant of the Lord engaged in the service of administration is the ideal executive head and can well protect the interest of the people in general. Other so-called administrators are symbols of anachronisms leading to the acute distress of the people who are governed by them. The administrators can remain safely under the protection of the arms of the Lord. The essence of everything is the Supreme Lord: He is called the sāram. And those who sing and talk about Him are called the sāraṅgas, or the pure devotees. The pure devotees are always hankering after the lotus feet of the Lord. The lotus has a kind of honey which is transcendentally relished by the devotees. They are like the bees who are always after the honey. Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī, the great devotee ācārya of the Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava sampradāya, has sung a song about this lotus honey, comparing himself to the bee: “O my Lord Kṛṣṇa, I beg to offer my prayers unto You. My mind is like the bee, and it is after some honey. Kindly, therefore, give my bee-mind a place at Your lotus feet, which are the resources for all transcendental honey. I know that even big demigods like Brahmā do not see the rays of the nails of Your lotus feet, even though they are engaged in deep meditation for years together. Still, O infallible one, my ambition is such, for You are very merciful to your surrendered devotees. O Mādhava, I know also that I have no genuine devotion for the service of Your lotus feet, but because Your Lordship is inconceivably powerful, You can do what is impossible to be done. Your lotus feet can deride even the nectar of the heavenly kingdom, and therefore I am very much attracted by them. O supreme eternal, please, therefore, let my mind be fixed at Your lotus feet so that eternally I may be able to relish the taste of Your transcendental service.” The devotees are satisfied with being placed at the lotus feet of the Lord and have no ambition to see His all-beautiful face or aspire for the protection of the strong arms of the Lord. They are humble by nature, and the Lord is always leaning towards such humble devotees.
If Royal Satanism doesn't stop, there will be consequences. Those who curse will only curse themselves.
Only bhakti yogi's and Siddha Maha Yogi's have a good chance of liberation.
But those who practice satanism, wether royal or not,
Are selling their souls.

When interpreters consult the pages of Scripture, rather than frontpage news, the biblical connotation of the mark becomes clearer. Revelation describes the mark being placed on “the right hand or the forehead” (Rev 13:16), which echoes the description of God’s commandments in the Torah: “You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes” (Deuteronomy 6:8; cf. 11:18). Based on this verse, later Jews affixed Tefillin (תפלין) - small boxes containing biblical texts—to their hands and foreheads. In the Greek New Testament, tefillin are called “phylacteries” (φυλακτήρια; Matt 23:5), and observant Jews wear these ritual adornments during prayer to this day. Thus, from a Jewish perspective, it is immediately clear that the “mark of the beast” takes the place of the divine commands; to accept this mark is to reject the will of God.

Describing the meaning of Passover, Moses tells his people, “You shall tell your child on that day, ‘It is because of what the Lord did for me when I came out of Egypt.’ And it shall be to you as a sign on your hand (ידך; yadekha) and as a memorial between your eyes, that the Lord’s teaching (תורה; torah) may be in your mouth” (Exodus 13:9). As in Ezekiel, those whom God saves bear the divine mark. Later in the same chapter of Exodus, Moses tells the people to consecrate their firstborn to God, and the rationale for this practice is a recollection of Israel’s salvation. “For when Pharaoh stubbornly refused to let us go,” says Moses, “the Lord killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man and the firstborn of animals... but all the firstborn of my sons I redeem. It shall be as a sign on your hand and frontlets between your eyes, for by a strong hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt” (13:15-16). The mark of the Lord signifies salvation from death and destruction, and Revelation presents the negative inverse for those who take the mark of the beast *

Chant & Be Happy.
Bhagavan Sri Krishna said, “For 10,000 years of Kali-yuga My devotees will exist on earth. After the departure of My devotees there will be only one varna.” (Brahma-vaivarta Purana text 59)
Comment: Out of 10,000 years, five thousand have already passed. So only 5000 years remain; not 10,000 years. This verse says NOTHING ABOUT A GOLDEN AGE!
So, the idea of 10,000 year period of a golden age is not supported by this verse. However, the verse is reminding all of us:
“You only have 5,000 more years left (60 births) to chant the Hare Krishna Maha-mantra, become a pure Krishna bhakta, and attain the eternal loving seva of Radha-Krishna in Vrindavan!”
Bhakti-yoga.
Traditioneel bestaat het proces van bhakti-yoga uit negen stadia (bhãgavata dharma) die de bhakta in staat stellen om zich stap voor stap te bevrijden van de conditioneringen van de materiële wereld (S.B. 7.5: 23-24[1]). Deze stadia zijn:
- śravanam, het horen van Gods naam en het luisteren naar zijn glories;
- kīrtanam, het tezamen reciteren en (be)zingen van Gods naam en zijn glories, het zogenaamde 'chanten';
- Vishnu-smaranam, de constante herinnering aan God, bijvoorbeeld door het herhalen van zijn naam (mantra japa) en de contemplatie van zijn vorm (upāsana);
- pãda-sevanam, bijkomende activiteiten ter ere van en ter versterking van de relatie met God, bijvoorbeeld het dienen van andere bhakta's, op pelgrimage gaan;
- arcanam, de (rituele) verering van God (pūjā) in zijn beeltenis, bijvoorbeeld thuis of in een tempel;
- vandanam, het betuigen van respect aan God, bijvoorbeeld door het offreren van eerbiedige buigingen (pranāma of namaskāra) en gebeden;
- dāsyam, in een relatie van dienstbaarheid in dienst van God staan;
- sākhyam, in een relatie van welmenende vriendschap tot God staan;
- ãtma-nivedanam, de volledige zelf-overgave aan God.
Dus laten we gebruik maken van deze speciale spirituele gift gegeven tijdens de duistere tijden van Kali Yuga om onszelf snel spiritueel te verheffen door de heilige namen van God te chanten.

Translation
If one offers Me with love and devotion a leaf, a flower, a fruit or water, I will accept it.
Purport
For the intelligent person, it is essential to be in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, engaged in the transcendental loving service of the Lord, in order to achieve a permanent, blissful abode for eternal happiness. The process of achieving such a marvelous result is very easy and can be attempted even by the poorest of the poor, without any kind of qualification. The only qualification required in this connection is to be a pure devotee of the Lord. It does not matter what one is or where one is situated. The process is so easy that even a leaf or a little water or fruit can be offered to the Supreme Lord in genuine love and the Lord will be pleased to accept it. No one, therefore, can be barred from Kṛṣṇa consciousness, because it is so easy and universal. Who is such a fool that he does not want to be Kṛṣṇa conscious by this simple method and thus attain the highest perfectional life of eternity, bliss and knowledge? Kṛṣṇa wants only loving service and nothing more. Kṛṣṇa accepts even a little flower from His pure devotee. He does not want any kind of offering from a nondevotee. He is not in need of anything from anyone, because He is self-sufficient, and yet He accepts the offering of His devotee in an exchange of love and affection. To develop Kṛṣṇa consciousness is the highest perfection of life. Bhakti is mentioned twice in this verse in order to declare more emphatically that bhakti, or devotional service, is the only means to approach Kṛṣṇa. No other condition, such as becoming a brāhmaṇa, a learned scholar, a very rich man or a great philosopher, can induce Kṛṣṇa to accept some offering. Without the basic principle of bhakti, nothing can induce the Lord to agree to accept anything from anyone. Bhakti is never causal. The process is eternal. It is direct action in service to the absolute whole.
Here Lord Kṛṣṇa, having established that He is the only enjoyer, the primeval Lord and the real object of all sacrificial offerings, reveals what types of sacrifices He desires to be offered. If one wishes to engage in devotional service to the Supreme in order to be purified and to reach the goal of life – the transcendental loving service of God – then one should find out what the Lord desires of him. One who loves Kṛṣṇa will give Him whatever He wants, and he avoids offering anything which is undesirable or unasked. Thus meat, fish and eggs should not be offered to Kṛṣṇa. If He desired such things as offerings, He would have said so. Instead He clearly requests that a leaf, fruit, flowers and water be given to Him, and He says of this offering, “I will accept it.” Therefore, we should understand that He will not accept meat, fish and eggs. Vegetables, grains, fruits, milk and water are the proper foods for human beings and are prescribed by Lord Kṛṣṇa Himself. Whatever else we eat cannot be offered to Him, since He will not accept it. Thus we cannot be acting on the level of loving devotion if we offer such foods.
In the Third Chapter, verse 13, Śrī Kṛṣṇa explains that only the remains of sacrifice are purified and fit for consumption by those who are seeking advancement in life and release from the clutches of the material entanglement. Those who do not make an offering of their food, He says in the same verse, are eating only sin. In other words, their every mouthful is simply deepening their involvement in the complexities of material nature. But preparing nice, simple vegetable dishes, offering them before the picture or Deity of Lord Kṛṣṇa and bowing down and praying for Him to accept such a humble offering enable one to advance steadily in life, to purify the body, and to create fine brain tissues which will lead to clear thinking. Above all, the offering should be made with an attitude of love. Kṛṣṇa has no need of food, since He already possesses everything that be, yet He will accept the offering of one who desires to please Him in that way. The important element, in preparation, in serving and in offering, is to act with love for Kṛṣṇa.
The impersonalist philosophers, who wish to maintain that the Absolute Truth is without senses, cannot comprehend this verse of Bhagavad-gītā. To them, it is either a metaphor or proof of the mundane character of Kṛṣṇa, the speaker of the Bhagavad-gītā. But, in actuality, Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Godhead, has senses, and it is stated that His senses are interchangeable; in other words, one sense can perform the function of any other. This is what it means to say that Kṛṣṇa is absolute. Lacking senses, He could hardly be considered full in all opulences. In the Seventh Chapter, Kṛṣṇa has explained that He impregnates the living entities into material nature. This is done by His looking upon material nature. And so in this instance, Kṛṣṇa’s hearing the devotee’s words of love in offering foodstuffs is wholly identical with His eating and actually tasting. This point should be emphasized: because of His absolute position, His hearing is wholly identical with His eating and tasting. Only the devotee, who accepts Kṛṣṇa as He describes Himself, without interpretation, can understand that the Supreme Absolute Truth can eat food and enjoy it.

Betekenisverklaring
Een intelligent persoon weet dat het essentieel is om Kṛṣṇa-bewust te zijn en bezig te zijn met devotionele dienst aan de Heer om zo een permanente plaats te bereiken waar eeuwig geluk heerst. Het proces om zo’n fantastisch resultaat te bereiken is heel gemakkelijk en zelfs de armste van alle armen kan ermee beginnen, zonder enige kwalificaties te bezitten. De enige kwalificatie die in dit verband vereist is, is om een zuivere toegewijde van de Heer te zijn. Het maakt niet uit wat iemand is of wat zijn situatie is. Het proces is zo gemakkelijk dat zelfs een blad of een beetje water of een vrucht met oprechte liefde aan de Allerhoogste Heer kan worden geofferd en de Heer zal het met plezier aanvaarden. Niemand kan daarom van het Kṛṣṇa-bewustzijn worden uitgesloten, omdat het zo gemakkelijk en universeel is. Wie is er zo dwaas dat hij niet door deze simpele methode Kṛṣṇa-bewust wil zijn om op die manier het hoogste niveau van volmaakt leven van eeuwigheid, gelukzaligheid en kennis te bereiken? Kṛṣṇa wil alleen dienst die met liefde wordt verricht en niets anders. Kṛṣṇa aanvaardt zelfs een kleine bloem van Zijn zuivere toegewijde. Hij verlangt naar geen enkele offergave van een niet-toegewijde. Omdat Hij onafhankelijk is, heeft Hij niets nodig van wie dan ook, maar toch aanvaardt Hij wat Zijn toegewijde Hem in een uitwisseling van genegenheid en liefde aanbiedt.
Het ontwikkelen van Kṛṣṇa-bewustzijn is de hoogste perfectie vanhet leven. In dit vers wordt tweemaal naar bhakti verwezen om te benadrukken dat bhakti of devotionele dienst de enige manier is om Kṛṣṇa te benaderen. Geen enkele andere voorwaarde, zoals een brāhmaṇa worden of een erudiet geleerde of een heel rijk persoon of een groot filosoof, kan Kṛṣṇa ertoe aanzetten een offergave te aanvaarden. Zonder het fundamentele principe van bhakti zal niets de Heer ertoe kunnen aanzetten om van wie dan ook iets te aanvaarden. Bhakti is nooit afhankelijk van externe oorzaken. Het proces is eeuwig. Het is rechtstreekse activiteit in dienst van het absolute geheel.
Na duidelijk te hebben gesteld dat Hij de enige genieter, de oorspronkelijke Heer en het werkelijke object van alle offers is, maakt Heer Kṛṣṇa duidelijk welke typen van offergaven Hij verlangt. Wanneer iemand ernaar verlangt devotionele dienst aan de Allerhoogste te verrichten om zo gezuiverd te worden en het doel van het leven te bereiken — namelijk transcendentale liefdedienst aan God — dan moet hij proberen te ontdekken wat de Heer van hem wil. Wie van Kṛṣṇa houdt, zal Kṛṣṇa alles geven wat Hij wil en zal vermijden Hem iets aan te bieden wat ongewenst is of iets waar Hij niet om gevraagd heeft. Vlees, vis en eieren moeten dus niet aan Kṛṣṇa geofferd worden. Als Hij deze dingen als offergaven had verlangd, dan zou Hij dat wel hebben gezegd. In plaats daarvan vraagt Hij duidelijk dat we Hem een blad, fruit, bloemen en water geven en Hij zegt van zo’n offergave: ‘Ik zal het aanvaarden.’ We moeten daarom begrijpen dat Hij vlees, vis en eieren niet zal aanvaarden. Groenten, granen, fruit, melk en water zijn geschikt als voeding voor de mens en worden door Heer Kṛṣṇa Zelf voorgeschreven. Al het voedsel dat we daarbuiten eten, kan niet aan Hem worden geofferd, omdat Hij het niet zal aanvaarden. Als we Hem toch zulk voedsel aanbieden, bevinden we ons dus niet op het niveau van liefdevolle devotie.
In het derde hoofdstuk, tekst dertien, legt Śrī Kṛṣṇa uit dat alleen de overblijfselen van een offer gezuiverd zijn en geschikt voor consumptie voor degenen die vooruitgang willen maken in het leven en die bevrijd willen worden uit de greep van de materiële verstrikking. In dezelfde tekst zegt Hij dat zij die van hun voedsel geen offer maken, enkel zonde eten. Met andere woorden, elke mondvol verwikkelt hen dieper in de complexiteiten van de materiële natuur. Maar smakelijke, eenvoudige groentegerechten bereiden, deze voor een afbeelding of Beeldgedaante van Heer Kṛṣṇa offeren en neerbuigen en bidden of Hij zo’n nederige offergave wil aanvaarden, stelt iemand in staat om geleidelijk aan vooruitgang te maken in het leven, het lichaam te zuiveren en de subtiele hersenweefsels te ontwikkelen die tot helder denken leiden. Maar bovenal moet de offergave met liefde gebracht worden. Kṛṣṇa heeft geen behoefte aan voedsel, omdat alles wat bestaat al Zijn bezit is. Toch zal Hij de offergave van iemand die Hem op die manier probeert te plezieren, aanvaarden. Het belangrijkste element tijdens het bereiden, serveren en offeren van een gerecht is dat men het uit liefde voor Kṛṣṇa doet.
De impersonalistische filosofen, die blijven vasthouden aan de opvatting dat de Absolute Waarheid geen zintuigen heeft, kunnen dit vers van de Bhagavad-gītā Bhagavad-gītā
niet begrijpen. Volgens hen is het ofwel een metafoor ofwel een bewijs van het wereldse karakter van Kṛṣṇa, de spreker van de Bhagavad-gītā. Maar in werkelijkheid heeft Kṛṣṇa, de Allerhoogste Persoonlijkheid Gods, zintuigen en er staat geschreven dat Zijn zintuigen onderling verwisselbaar zijn; met andere woorden, een bepaald zintuig kan de functie van elk ander zintuig uitvoeren. Dat wordt bedoeld als gezegd wordt dat Kṛṣṇa absoluut is. Als Hij geen zintuigen zou hebben, zou Hij nauwelijks als volledig in alle volheden beschouwd kunnen worden. In het zevende hoofdstuk heeft Kṛṣṇa uitgelegd dat Hij de levende wezens in de materiële natuur brengt. Hij doet dit door Zijn blik op de materiële natuur te werpen. En in het bovenstaande geval is het zo dat wanneer Kṛṣṇa de liefderijke woorden van de toegewijde tijdens het offeren van voedsel hoort, dit volkomen gelijk is aan Zijn eten en daadwerkelijk proeven. Dit punt moet benadrukt worden: door Zijn absolute positie is Zijn horen volledig gelijk aan Zijn eten en proeven. Alleen de toegewijde die Kṛṣṇa zonder interpretatie aanvaardt zoals Hij Zichzelf beschrijft, kan begrijpen dat de Allerhoogste Absolute Waarheid voedsel kan eten en ervan kan genieten.
