Malta legaliseert als eerste Europese land thuisteelt en persoonlijk bezit van cannabis.

Malta is het eerste Europese land dat thuisteelt van cannabis gaat legaliseren. Daarnaast wordt ook het bezit voor persoonlijk gebruik toegelaten en kunnen Maltezen zich aansluiten bij non-profitclubs die cannabis telen voor hun leden. De Maltese president zal de nieuwe wet morgen ondertekenen. In België is cannabis nog steeds een illegale drug.
